After having directed a couple of films with different concepts – Uyir and Mirugam – director Samy is back in action. It is worth mentioning here that Samy was banned for a year from directing films for slapping Padmapriya on the sets of Mirugam. With the ban revoked, he is busy with a fresh project, titled Sarithiram. According to the director, the film is a heroine-oriented subject. To put it more precisely, it is about a lady Silambattam artiste. Samy, it is said, is now scouting for a heroine well-versed in Silambattam!
